• Student accounts: first name, year group, and a PIN for login. Students do not need to provide an email address
• Usage data: quiz scores, flashcard progress, streaks, XP, and badges earned
• Technical data: browser type, device information, and cookies necessary for authentication

3. How we use your data

• To provide and improve the revision platform
• To track learning progress and award achievements
• To send weekly email digests to parents (you can unsubscribe at any time)
• To process subscription payments via Stripe
• To send essential account emails (verification, password reset)

4. Data sharing

We do not sell your data to third parties. We share data only with:

• Stripe — for payment processing
• Supabase — for authentication and database hosting
• SendGrid/Mailgun — for transactional emails

5. Data storage and security

Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption. Our database is hosted by Supabase with encryption at rest and in transit. We do not store payment card details — all payment processing is handled by Stripe.

6. Children's data

Student accounts are created by parents. We collect minimal data from students (first name, year group, and a login PIN). Students do not need to provide an email address. Parents can delete their child's account and all associated data at any time.
